Welcome to the 2023 IEEE OES 13th National Technical Seminar on Unmanned System Technology.
This conference aims to provide a platform for researchers, scientists, engineers, academicians, as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to share, discuss and disseminate their current R&D activities and experiences related to the field of unmanned system technologies, including relevant theories as well as applications.
NUSYS 2023 emphasizes the exploration of innovative technologies and methodologies to harness the abundant resources available, the formulation of engineering strategies to conserve our ecosystem, and the provision of a dedicated platform for envisioning the future of emerging technologies.
The seminar will bring together leading scientists, researchers, engineer, scholars and students in the domain of interest from around the world. Topics of interest for submission include, but are not limited to:

PUBLICATION
All papers that are accepted and presented at Nusys 2023 will be submitted for inclusion to SCOPUS-indexed Springer LNEE (Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering) Proceedings.
SUBMISSION

KEYNOTE SPEAKER 1 : Antonio Pascoal from Dynamical Systems and Ocean Robotics Lab Lisboa, Portugal
António M. Pascoal (Life Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in control science from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, MN, USA, in 1987. In 1988, he joined the Department of Electrical Engineering of IST, University of Lisbon, Lisbon, Portugal. Since 2012, he has been an Adjunct Scientist with the National Institute of Oceanography, Goa, India. He was elected as a Chair of the IFAC Technical Committee Marine Systems from 2008 to 2014. He is currently a Senior Researcher with the Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR) and the Coordinator of the Thematic Area Technologies for Ocean Exploration and Exploitation of the Laboratory for Robotics and Engineering Systems (LARSyS).
KEYNOTE SPEAKER 2 : Huiping Li from School of Marine Science and Technology, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China.
Huiping Li (Senior member IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in mechanical engineering and automatic control from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, in 2006 and 2009, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Victoria, BC, Canada, in 2013. Since 2016, he has been a tenured Full Professor with the School of Marine Science and Technology, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an. His current research interests include model predictive control, and decision-marking, planning and motion control of unmanned vehicles. He is the Chair of IEEE Xi’an IES Chapter and technical committee member of IEEE IES Cyber-physical systems. He also serves as the Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, and ASME Journal on Dynamic Systems, Measurement and Control.
